English Explorers
Since the last 40 years, Lorna Whiston, an English enrichment centre, has been one of the leading schools that specialise in English learning program for kids in Singapore, improving English skills.
And we at Discovery Camps, are thrilled to have them as our partner our English Explorers camp for kids!
They have designed an English learning programme to spark children's natural curiosities for English learning, excite their imagination, nurture their creativity, develop their confidence and communication skills.
We have further customised their English learning program to the needs of children in the age groups of 3-5 and 6-8, to be taught by highly experienced English Language Teachers.
The camp classes include not only English reading and writing activities, but also speech, drama and art, to fully develop and nurture your child's reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.
What better way for your child to improve their English, during the winter school holidays in Singapore!
How the English Explorers camp will help your child:

- Develop their English creative writing abilities
- Sharpen their speaking and presentation skills, thus increasing their confidence level
- Help them to express their creativity through art and drama
- Teach them how to be good listeners, paying attention to their classmates and exchanging in conversations
- Overall, make them better communicators, especially in the English language.
This English camp is best suited for children who:
- Need/want to improve their spoken and written English
- Want to interact with others easily and with more confidence
- Learn English in a fun way, without feeling too pressured like in school.

Animal Magic! (Week 1)
Young children are invariably fascinated with animals, and this brand-new holiday programme aims to tap on their natural curiosity. From bunnies to bears, and from puppies to crocodiles, our young learners will explore the wonderful world of animals whilst developing their language and literacy skills through and exciting range of hands-on learning activities.

Children will develop early language and literacy skills through storybooks that have been carefully selected to stimulate their imagination, while songs and rhymes will help develop their spoken language and knowledge of phonics.

Nursery Tales are one of the simplest yet most effective examples of storytelling of all time. They provide a wonderful platform for developing children’s language and literacy skills, whilst also enriching their social-emotional learning.
