Discovery Camps have partnered with Lorna Whiston Schools. Established in 1980, Lorna Whiston has built an outstanding reputation for high quality education and teaching excellence across their signature programmes: English Enrichment, Speech & Drama and Preschools.

We are thrilled to have Lorna Whiston's dynamic team of highly experienced teachers leading our camp learning. They have designed a programme to spark children’s natural curiosity for learning, excite their imagination, nurture their creativity and develop their confidence and communication skills.

During the camp week English, Drama and Art activities engage and develop your child’s reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.  Each one of our English Explorer programmes has been designed by our team of spealist educators to spark children's natural curiosity for learning, excite their imagination, nurture their creativity and develop their confidence and communication skills.

3 to 5 years old

Bears, Bears Everywhere! (Week 1 & 2)

Your child will be in for a 'beary' special week when they join us for this exciting new Discovery Camp. Each day our young learners will interact with bear-related stories and develop early reading and writing skills through related literacy activities. The week will culminate in a Teddu's Bears' Picnic, when the children will come along with their favourite teddy bear for a fun-filled sharing session.

Winter Wonderland! (Week 3)

What is snow made of? What does a snowflake look like? How do you make a snowman? Come and find out during our enchanting Winter Wonderland Discovery Camp, a programme designed to provide our youngest learners with a magical learning experience that will boost their confidence and support the development of their early speaing, reading and writing skills.

6 to 8 years old

Awesome Adventures (Week 1 & 2)

Who doesnt love a good adventure?! Help our kids make lasting memories with our fun-filled, literacy based holiday programme centered around a series of exciting adventure stories. Kids will tap on their imagination and develop their speaking and writing skills through this incredible new programme which is guaranteed to bring out their spirit of adventure!

Let it Snow! (Week 3)

Children the world over are fascinated by snow! Our young learners will be captivated by this brand new Discovery Camp programme. They will practise oral presentation skills and experiment with both factual and fictional writing as they learn all about snow and the reatures that live in the Arctic and Antarctic. Dont miss this opportunity to experience winter in Singapore!es our English Explorers will develop their reading, writing and speaking super powers and give their vocabulary and grammer skills a power boost.



Food

Lunch, morning and afternoon snacks are included in the cost of your camp. What's more the food is cooked fresh and delivered daily by Michelin Star Celebrity Chef Emmanuel Stroobant.

If your kid is a vegetarian or doesn’t/can’t eat beef, pork, seafood, dairy or eggs, that’s cool. Just tell us beforehand in your child’s details online when you book. If your kid has a nut allergy, don’t worry, Discovery Camps has a no nut policy.

Bus Service

We offer a highly convenient, safe, and secure bus service to and from camp, calling 19 bus stops around the island.

Please note this bus service is only available from our SJI International location from 17th Dec 2018 to 4th Jan 2019.
